is currently in the 25 top

ranked (all breed) obedience dogs

in the United States, and she has held

this standing consistently for

well over a year.

She completed 2009 ranked as the #14 dog

(all breeds by OTCH points) in the U.S.

Dune finished her OTCH and UDX

exactly one year from her CD. 

She got all of her OTCH points and Firsts in a

total of just 12 trials. 

 

Currently, at the age of 5, she has won:

28 High Combined

 

33 scores of 199 or higher

 

44 UDX legs 

 

866 lifetime OTCH points 

 

Highlights...

 

2009

 

Dune finished 2009 ranked as the 14th dog

(by OTCH points) of all breeds.

 

December 2009

 

Dune competed in the 2009 AKC National

Obedience Invitational, held in Long Beach, California.

At the end of Saturday's competition, she had won

725 points out of a possible 740, and was

seeded #10.  In Sunday's competition she

competed until the field was narrowed to the final

16 teams.  She won 4th place Herding Dog.

 

Fall 2009

 

Dune had a wonderful series of trials this fall. 

She earned her seventh OTCH, third UDX and third Obedience Master titles.  On the way, she brought her lifetime totals to 50 First placements, 28 High in Trials,

25 High Combineds, and 29 scores of 199 or 199.5. 

 

July 2009

 

In July, Dune placed SECOND in this area's AKC

Regional Event in Bloomsburg PA by earning the second highest cumulative score over three days of competition

in Open B and Utility B.  She scored a total of 1183.5

points out of a possible 1200.  This qualifies her for the 2010 AKC National Obedience Invitational.

 

April 2009

 

In April, Dune WON this area's AKC Regional Event in Harrisburg PA by earning the highest cumulative score over three days of competition in Open B and Utility B. 

She scored a remarkable total of 1190 points out of a possible 1200.  Of the eleven regions in the US, this

score tied her with a team from California for the

highest cumulative score in the United States in

these Regional Events.

 

March 2009

 

Dune completed her first Obedience Master title on

March 15.  This is a new title begun by the AKC in 2009, awarding points for scoring 190 or more in Open or Utility.

 

February 2009

 

Dune gets her first perfect score of 200!!

Dune was awarded a perfect score of 200 in Open B

by judge Allan Immerman at the Rockland County

KC trial on February 21, 2009. 

We thank Mr. Immerman for thinking so highly

of Dune's work, and for awarding her High in Trial

and High Combined in the Breed Group ring.
